Apple TV commercial for new MacBook Air

The TV spot for Apple's new MacBook Air

Jailbreak Apple TV 2G PwnageTool 4.1.2

The all new PwnageTool 4.1.2 brings support for the 2nd-generation Apple TV. You can use it to cook custom firmware for Apple TV 2G which in future will allow you to install third party apps from Cydia.
========================================­­­­­­­­­­===========================

Step 1: Download and install the latest version of iTunes.

Step 2: Download PwnageTool 4.1.2 and the original iOS 4.1 for Apple TV 2G. (download links given below). Move all these files to your desktop.

Step 3: Start PwnageTool and select Apple TV 2G.

Step 4: PwnageTool will now automatically detect the correct firmware for your device.

Step 5: Click on "Yes" when iTunes shows up.

Step 6: PwnageTool will now create the custom .ipsw file for your Apple TV 2G which will be jailbroken.

Step 7: Now follow the following steps to enter DFU mode:

Connect your Apple TV with your Computer via microUSB.

Now reboot your Apple TV by holding down Menu + Down buttons together for around 6 seconds.

After reboot, immediately hold Menu + Play until you see the message in iTunes saying that Apple TV in recovery mode is detected.

Step 8: You will now have to restore your Apple TV 2G to this custom firmware 4.1 file. Start iTunes, click on your device icon from the sidebar in iTunes. Now press and hold left "alt" button on the keyboard and then click on "Restore" (Not "Update" or "Check for Update").
This will make iTunes prompt you to select the location for your custom firmware 4.1 file. Select the required custom .ipsw file and click on "Open".

Step 9: Now sit back and enjoy as iTunes does the rest for you. This will involve a series of automated steps. Be patient at this stage and don't do anything silly. Just wait while iTunes installs the new firmware 4.1 on your Apple TV 2G. After the installation is done, your Apple TV 2G will restart automatically and you should now have a jailbroken Apple TV with full root access, running on iOS 4.1.

Taking a break from superhero duty, the X-Men (without Rogue) take a pleasure cruise. However, Magma becomes violently ill, literally suffering from earth withdrawal. When Boom-Boom transfers her to an island, she accidentally triggers a volcano. When the volcano threatens to explode again, Magma dives into its heart to silence it once and for all.

Steve Jobs introduces the "Digital Hub" strategy at Macworld 2001

On January 9, 2001, Steve Jobs gave one of his greatest Macworld keynote presentations. The main topics included the original version of Mac OS X, the original SuperDrive and the original widescreen PowerBook G4.

But perhaps the most profound was the introduction of the "Digital Hub" concept in which the Mac would evolve into becoming the center of the digital lifestyle of the 21st century. It has been the subject of much discussion by Steve and his substitutes when talking about the Mac ever since. This definitely the beginning of something huge.

iMovie had already been around since 1999 and Steve introduced the original versions of iTunes and iDVD at this keynote. Interesting to note that in the second part of this video Steve refers to iTunes as "iMusic" - perhaps a code name during production?

It's amazing that as soon as Steve started on this topic everyone was spellbound and there was no applause from the audience for a good 11-12 minutes, quite possibly the longest gap between applauses in Stevenote history.

The Beatles' celebrated rooftop show. An idea conceived during a meeting on 26 January, it was the first of two consecutive Beatles/Billy Preston performances which concluded the Get Back project, for on 31 January they ran through numbers inside the basement studio.

This day's work has passed into history as the Beatles' last live performance, even if it couldn't be classified as a concert. The 42-minute show (about half of which comprises the sensational close to the Let It Be film) was a lunchtime blast into the cold wind - imagine a high London rooftop in January - that brought part of the capital to a standstill, until the police, in turn, brought the show to an enforced conclusion.

Much was commercially used from the 42 minutes on the roof, in the Let It Be film and on the Get Back (unissued) and Let It Be albums. What follows is a detailed description of the full rooftop repertoire, as preserved on EMI's eight-track tapes, with a guide to how it was made available.
